Anna Adamyan is an Armenian pianist and musicologist whose
work brings together performance, scholarship, and contemporary
music education. Her artistic profile is defined by a balance of
intellectual depth, expressive clarity, and innovative pedagogy.

Artistic Profile

Anna Adamyan received her professional training at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, where she studied piano under Professor Armen Babakhanian. She graduated with honors and later earned her Ph.D. in Arts, with research dedicated to the piano works of Dikran Tchouhadjian.

Her performance career includes both solo and collaborative activity. As a long-standing member and accompanist of the Hover Chamber Choir, she has appeared on international stages such as Carnegie Hall and Strathmore Hall, engaging with diverse audiences and repertoire.

Research & Publications

As a musicologist, Anna Adamyan has made significant contributions to Armenian musical scholarship. Author of a monograph on Dikran Tchouhadjian (2015), published with the support of the Young Scholars Program of the Republic of Armenia. Compiler and editor of a collection of Armenian polyphonic piano works (2019), published through a state cultural grant. Author of over 40 academic articles in Armenian and international journals. Her work focuses on music education, piano pedagogy, and the study and promotion of Armenian musical heritage.

Teaching & MOOZART

Anna Adamyan is an Associate Professor at the Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University, where she trains future music educators.

She is also the founder of the MOOZART Piano Studio and the creator of the MOOZART Method—a distinctive approach designed especially for adult piano learners.

Her teaching combines structured methodology with artistic sensitivity, working with students internationally.
She also prepares pianists for ABRSM examinations, with students consistently achieving excellent results.

Professional Activity & Service

Since 2022, Anna Adamyan has served as an expert in collaboration with key state institutions of the Republic of Armenia, contributing to: Evaluation of academic research (PhD and scholarly work). Development and review of educational programs. Assessment of music-related examinations and textbooks. She is also an active music critic for AZG Daily, contributing to Armenia’s cultural discourse.
